A diverse display of Japanese landscaping behind a Belgian residence
We hope you enjoy this presentation on one of the most diverse and ambitious projects of 2023, a private Japanese garden at the back of a home in Belgium.

The creation process started with clearing out the old garden and leveling the soil, after which the veranda was made and installed on location. Once this was completed our landscapers started on the actual garden with the placement of stones, the necessary first step in creating a true Japanese garden according to ancient traditional guidelines.

Next came the stone ornaments, stepping stones, and stone bridge that were carefully setup in the designated spots. After positioning the heavy rocks and ornaments, it was time to plant all the greenery in the garden and fill it with authentic Shirakawa-suna gravel from Kyoto. The last step was installing the Koshikake, crafted by our talented woodworkers, on the traditional Tataki foundation in the corner of the garden, providing a splendid view of the garden for our client and his visitors.
