Red Panda Enclosure Avifauna Zoo - Design (2019)

A Zoo Enclosure for the Red Pandas in an Authentic Asian Theme
Avifauna, the world's oldest bird park located in Alphen aan den Rijn, the Netherlands, extended an invitation for us to create a comprehensive plan and designs for a new habitat for the anticipated little red pandas. The proposed design includes a substantial rock formation complemented by a waterfall, accompanied by a small tree hut intended as a shelter for the night.

The landscape design incorporates a covered walkway, allowing visitors to observe the animals up close, while providing plenty of spots for the animals to hide and play. The inclusion of a weathered sampan boat contributes to the ambiance, evoking the sense of an abandoned village nestled in the jungle. This project not only enhances the well-being of the animals but also offers visitors a picturesque setting.
